What a semblature is
A semblature (sem-bluh-cher) is a magical assembly of parts that only works properly when its units are positioned in the right order. Your job is to figure out what is wrong and make it right.
Every unit looks identical from the outside. Some are broken and need repairing. Some are hosting a Shade, an elusive creature that has secretly moved in and will complicate your deductions. Your specialized workbench pulls information from each unit to get you started. You have to figure out the rest.
-
Read each statement.
Each unit makes a statement, which can be true or false based on its relative position. A broken unit does not fail quietly. It states the opposite of the truth when it is in the proper position.
-
Work out the status of every part.
Which are working, which are broken, which are hosted, and which are clear.
-
Set the order.
Move or swap the units until the arrangement is correct. Doing that can also help you solve the status of each unit.
THE FAIRNESS COVENANT
You will never be required to guess.
Every puzzle is generated against a verified unique solution. The evidence always suffices, and you never have to guess or deal with RNG.
Hints are free, unlimited, and never held against you.
A hint nudges you at first, and will give you a clear move if that's what you want. The game never marks you down or penalises you for asking, and 100% of the Steam achievements stays reachable whether you used hints or not.
Nothing punishes you.
No timers, no failure states, no lost progress, no forced replays. Being wrong teaches you something; it never costs you the evening.
It ends.
About five hours, and the last half hour is meant to be the best one. One purchase, no microtransactions, no live service. Nothing is carved out of it to sell back to you, and nothing is asking you to come back tomorrow.
In progress
Captured from a development build on 24 August 2026. The game is unfinished and this is what it looks like today, not at release. Any shot opens at full size.
